STC (Small-scale Technology Certificates)

Australia's solar rebate. Each STC equals about 1 MWh of estimated production over the panel's deeming period. STCs are sold to electricity retailers and reduce the upfront cost of solar by approximately A$500 per kW installed in 2026.
